ASUS ROG Strix XG49VQ Curved Gaming Monitor Review

The ASUS ROG STRIX XG49VQ DFHD 144Hz curved monitor earns its space on a proper desk, especially for anyone in the United Kingdom splitting evenings between racing sims, spreadsheets and streaming. Its wide, wraparound screen feels immersive without needing a fussy multi-monitor setup, and the 144Hz refresh rate keeps fast movement looking composed. The small compromise is practical: it wants room, so compact desks may struggle. For a considered gaming monitor upgrade, though, it feels pleasingly purposeful.
