LG UltraGear G8 27G850A: Sharp 4K Gaming Monitor Review

The LG UltraGear G8 Gaming Monitor 27G850A feels made for the desk that has to switch from tidy weekday work to serious evening play in the United Kingdom. Its 27-inch 4K UHD Nano IPS panel gives menus and open-world detail a clean, finely etched look, while Dual-Mode 240Hz/480Hz, 1ms GtG, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and HDMI 2.1 suit fast shooters as much as console sessions. The trade-off is that 4K on 27 inches may need a little scaling tinkering, but the matte black build keeps things grown-up.
