Instructions for Use & Installation: Getting the Best from Your CHiQ Mini Freezer

To ensure your frozen goods stay perfectly preserved and your new compact appliance runs efficiently, follow these essential guidelines:

1. Delivery and Setup (Crucial Step)

Let it Settle: After unboxing and placing the freezer in its final location, do not plug it in immediately. You must let it stand upright and unplugged for a minimum of 4 hours. This allows the compressor gases and oils, which were disturbed during transit, to settle back down.
Placement & Ventilation: Even though it is a tabletop model, the motor still needs to breathe. Ensure there is a gap of at least 5cm at the back and sides of the unit so it does not overheat. Use the adjustable feet at the front to ensure it sits perfectly level.

2. First-Time Use

Cooling Down: Once plugged in, turn the thermostat dial to a medium-high setting. Allow the freezer to run completely empty for at least 2 to 3 hours so it can reach the correct -18°C temperature before you start loading it with food.

3. Loading the Freezer
