Detailed Product Description
The Triton TCMBS Palm Belt Sander delivers professional results in a compact, hand-held form factor. Its powerful 450W motor drives a specialized 64mm belt to handle detailed sanding tasks across wood, metal, and composites. The innovative flush-side design permits edge work without workpiece damage, while the small front roller navigates tight spaces. Features include a quick-release belt lever for rapid grit changes and vibration-dampening rubber over-moulded grips. Designed for cabinetry, furniture repair, and restoration projects requiring precision material removal.
Direction for Use
Install the belt by releasing the quick-lever and aligning the 64x406mm belt over the rollers. Adjust tracking by rotating the tracking knob until the belt centers perfectly. Set the sanding direction by positioning the flush side against workpiece edges. Secure the workpiece with clamps. Squeeze the trigger and engage the lock-on switch for extended operation. Maintain flat contact by applying moderate pressure and moving with the grain. For edges, angle the flush side against the workpiece perimeter. Replace the belt when worn using the quick-release. After use, disconnect power and clean the rollers.
Materials
Housing: Reinforced nylon-glass composite. Rollers: Chrome-plated steel with sealed bearings. Grips: Anti-vibration TPR rubber over-mould. Belt mechanism: Precision-machined aluminum tracking guides.
Product Warnings
Always wear OSHA-approved eye protection and a respirator. Secure workpieces before operation. Disconnect power during belt changes. Keep hands clear of moving rollers. Never operate without dust extraction. Avoid excessive pressure—max material removal 0.2mm/pass. Replace cracked belts immediately. Not for use on lead-based surfaces. Store belts in moisture-proof packaging.
