Boil: Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil.
Cook: Gently add frozen tangyuan (do not thaw). Stir gently to prevent sticking. Once they float to the surface, cook for an additional 3–4 minutes.
Serve: Remove with a slotted spoon and serve warm in a bowl with some of the cooking water, or in sweet ginger soup.
