Very impressed with this trimmer kit. It included a Gillette Fusion Razor for finishing, but the images didn't include the use of it. It's a lightweight trimmer that gets the job done quick. The included, adjustable shields make setting the length of your beard simple. This took about 5 minutes (not including cleanup of hair).

Finally received by shaver from BzzAgent! The Braun Series 9 shaver delivers a nice clean comfortable shave with a lot of bells and whistles for an electric shaver. From my experience thus far this shaver performs superior to over shavers used in the past although this is a huge upgrade over my past shavers. I was concerned with that the blades would irritate my sensitive skin in my neck area but it does not. My trouble area is on both sides of my adams apple in that indention in the middle neck. Usually electric shavers in my experience irritate that area and make it red and cause a razor burn but with the Braun Series 9 I have not experienced that. The blades provide a great balance of sharpness and comfort. The base of the shaver is a new experience for me. It acts as a charging station as well as a cleaning station. When the shaver is stationed it place and gives you an indication on how dirty the blades are based on a 3 level indicator. This indicator is displayed on both the shaver itself when not plugged into the base or on the base when plugged in. When the cleaning cycle is engaged if goes through a process of pushing the alcohol based cleaning agent through the shaver blades to flush it out. This agent also acts as a lubrication to keep the blades working to optimal performance. What lacks in the cleaning cycle is an indicator that displays the time remaining or the current process it is on. I found that once it was done with the flushing sound (which was loud) it started what sounded like fan blowing but I did not know if it was going to shut off as after 5 minutes I forced it stopped it. Charging the shaver is easy and can be done in two different ways. The a/c adapter plug provided can either be plugged into the charging/cleaning station to power that portion and allowing you to plug the shaver into that to charge or by directly plugging the adapter cord into the shaver itself to charge. The shaver shows a charging indicator displayed on the handle to let you know when complete or what the charge level is. For travel you can simply put the shaver in the provided hard covered case and bring the charging cable along. Simple as that. The shaver is just about as noisy as any electric shaver really. The same buzzing sound you may be used to which is pretty standard. Most of the noise from the product comes from the cleaning base during cleaning cycle. Not unpleasant but as expected. I would recommend the Braun brand but more specifically the Braun Series 9 Shaver. It has given me two great shaves so far my first uses and I am sure will continue it's performances many times to come. Feels to me to be a solid built reliable shaver and I am a satisfied user.
