Installation & Maintenance

Before first use, remove the self-adhesive label using a hair dryer (hot air) or by scalding with boiling water to soften adhesive; alcohol may also be used for residue removal. Season the pot according to instructions: heat on medium-low, apply cooking oil or pork fat, wipe continuously for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with water only (no soap) and hang upside down overnight to dry. For ongoing maintenance, avoid soap; clean with hot water and a stiff brush, dry thoroughly, and apply a light coat of oil before storing.

Perfect! I seasoned the pan with oil last night, and sprayed it with oil again after cooking today. It's great. My old frying pan became uneven after overheating, so I replaced it with this one. It's perfect, the size is just right.
It's pretty good, not heavy, and easy to toss in the pan. This was my first time trying to season a cast iron pan; it was a bit of a hassle. Nitrided pans can't be cleaned with steel wool or a scouring pad, but the price is quite good, so I'd recommend it.
