The Ninja CREAMi is praised for its stylish design, ease of use, and versatility in making a range of frozen desserts like ice cream, sorbet, and milkshakes. Users highlight the intuitive interface, quick preparation times, and the convenience of dishwasher-safe parts. The machine’s ability to evenly distribute mix-ins and produce creamy textures is frequently noted. While some mention the noise level and the need for a 24-hour freezing period, these are seen as minor trade-offs for the quality and convenience it offers. Overall, it is considered a worthwhile investment for those looking to enjoy homemade frozen treats with minimal effort.
Amazing product and swift deliver It makes a very tasty ice cream without adding any sugar We just love it!
I was very kindly provided this machine free of charge in return for an honest review, and here it is: This machine looks great in the kitchen, very professional looking and a good size. It fits under my kitchen cabinets, however if your cabinets are little low then it could prove problematic to keep on the kitchen side. It's an incredible easy machine to use – once you've had a go at setting it up you realise it's really simple to click everything in place. The parts also come apart really easily and are cleaned well in a dishwasher. The panel has big buttons that are clearly labelled and light up when you select them. There is a bar along the top that lights up gradually to show the progress of your selection, this flashes and then switches off when you can remove the outer bowl. Also, the dessert pots are a good size – a little bigger than an ice cream from the shop (which are 465ml, a little under a pint – these pots hold 1 pint). They fit really well in a freezer compared to the units that come with ice cream makers, which are quite bulky. None of the options take a long time – generally 2-3 mins to churn up ice creams, sorbets, smoothie bowls and milkshakes. The mix-in option takes around 1 min and does a surprisingly great job of distributing your chosen treat into ice cream – I actually used this option for adding brownies in a milkshake and it was great. It's a little noisy, but again, it's only loud for a few mins. It's very sturdy, the machine did not move when churning. I was really impressed with the sorbet option – it comes out just the right texture for a sorbet. I was worried about putting a completely frozen pot (just out of the freezer) in the machine, but it works really well – the churner move gradually down to the bottom of the pot and then back up again, so you don't end up with the top mixed and bottom in one big lump. My only critique was that after my husband and I had a bowl of sorbet, the pot was empty! You could probably get 3 small bowls of ice cream / sorbet (roughly 3 scoops) out of a full pot. This is great if you're making for just 1-3 people, but for more you would need to make more pots. I was also really impressed with the milkshake option – I used a recipe from the book provided with the machine and found it was just perfect, a lovely thick milkshake. It's also really easy to just add a touch more milk and re-spin if you find it too think. 1 pot made a large milkshake, 2 smaller ones. Again, if you wanted to make more than this, you would need to make more pots. Overall, the machine is a little pricey, however you absolutely get what you pay for. You could easily buy a budget ice cream machine or use a blender for a milkshake, but this machine has been designed to work perfectly for the option you select with minimal effort. In around 5 mins (excluding the freezing time) you can have perfectly mixed ice cream or a quality milkshake of your own creation.
