Key Product Selling Points
- High-Efficiency Abrasive: Premium aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) grains deliver aggressive stock removal.
- Clog-Resistant Design: Open-coat structure with full resin bond minimizes loading during extended use.
- Universal Surface Compatibility: Effective on wood, paint, metal, and plastic substrates.
- Professional Workflow: 115mm × 10m roll eliminates frequent media changes.
- Multi-Tool Flexibility: Optimized for 1/2-sheet sanders, palm sanders, and manual sanding blocks.
Detailed Product Description
This 120-grit aluminium oxide sanding roll combines industrial-grade abrasives with a flexible latex-treated backing for demanding surface preparation. The open-coat resin bond prevents material buildup when sanding paint layers, softwoods, or non-ferrous metals, while the tear-resistant paper withstands aggressive pressure. With 10 meters of continuous abrasive, it supports high-volume sanding of drywall seams, furniture refinishing, automotive bodywork, and between-coat smoothing without premature wear.
Direction for Use
Prepare your tool by cutting the roll to size for specific sanders (e.g., 115×280mm for 1/2-sheet sanders) and securing it in sander clamps or a manual holder. For sanding techniques, maintain moderate pressure at 10,000-14,000 OPM with sanders, and for hand sanding, wrap around a cork block and follow the grain direction. Use a material-specific approach: for paint, use parallel strokes with light pressure; for wood, apply firm pressure along the grain; and for metal, employ wet sanding with lubricant. Connect vacuum extraction where possible for dust management, and wear a NIOSH P100 respirator during dry sanding. Advance the roll when the abrasive dulls or clogs.
Materials
Abrasive: Aluminium oxide grains (120 grit). Backing: Latex-impregnated cellulose paper (115g/m²). Bond: Phenolic resin (heat-resistant).
Product Warnings
Wear EN 166-certified goggles and EN 388:2016 gloves. Use a NIOSH-approved respirator for dust control. Never exceed recommended RPM/OPM speeds. Avoid sanding lead-based paints without HEPA containment. Dispose of used abrasive as construction waste. Store sealed in low-humidity environments below 60% RH.

Reviews
really cheap sandpaper, 10 metres for less than £2. One big issue though which is the sandpaper breaks apart very easily so go through lots. Probably better spending more money to get better quality brand.
