Thaw thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking if received frozen. Pat dry with kitchen paper before seasoning. This monkfish is raw and requires cooking before consumption.
Cooking Instructions
Method: This product can be roasted, pan seared, wrapped in pastry, or stuffed. Ensure the internal temperature reaches above 70°C. Cooking time will vary depending on method and thickness. As a guide, roast at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes, or pan sear for 4 to 5 minutes per side. The fish is cooked when opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. Do not overcook as this will dry out the flesh.
