My partner bought a paint gun a couple of years ago and it was awful, so last year he used a brush. This year we have more fence and an extra hut that needs painting so thought it might be an idea to give this a try. He finally had the weather to get out yesterday. It is a different style from the previous one he had, the one he did have had a long-corrugated hose from the paint source, this one uses a container directly attached, the spray is so much more even and consistent. The nozzles are a completely different design, and they give a brilliant coverage, there are 3 spray patterns that work very well for different sized areas, coverage is really good. It uses a lot less paint than a brush does which is perfect for us with so much needing painted. I have noticed that this one isn’t as fussy about the type of paint too, the old one was very precise in paint but this one used watered down fence paint that my partner had been using with a brush, the included viscosity testing cup was a huge help, just count the drips to get the desired thickness. As for cleaning what a big difference, no long hoses to clean. This will definitely be getting a lot of use.
