1. Redemption

Joybuy Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on the designated Joybuy country site specified at the time of issuance. Purchases are deducted from the Gift Card balance. If a purchase exceeds the available Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another available payment method.

2. Country / Site Restriction

A Joybuy Gift Card is redeemable only on the specific Joybuy country site for which it is issued. It may not be used on other Joybuy country sites or for orders designated for other consumer markets, except where expressly stated by Joybuy.

3. Expiry

Joybuy Gift Cards expires 5 Years from the date of issuance, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

4. No Reload, No Cash Redemption, No Transfer

Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash, or used for any unauthorized commercial purpose. Unused Gift Card balances may not be transferred to another account.

5. Restricted Products

Gift Cards may not be used to purchase:

•    other gift cards, vouchers, or stored value products;

•    account top-ups, balance top-ups, or similar value-stored products;

•    restricted digital products, codes, or services as designated by Joybuy from time to time.

6. Refunds

When refunding an order is paid in whole or in part using a Gift Card, any refund relating to the Gift Card-funded portion will, unless otherwise required by applicable law or technically impossible, be credited back to the original Gift Card used for the purchase. Where such credit back is not possible, Joybuy may issue a replacement Gift Card for the refunded amount.

You will not be able to refund after your Joybuy Gift Card is added to your Account or used on Joybuy.

7. Risk of Loss

The risk of loss and title for the Gift Card pass to the purchaser or designated recipient upon electronic transmission or delivery. Joybuy is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed, or unauthorized use of a Gift Card, except as required by applicable law.

8. Fraud / Abuse

Joybuy reserves the right to refuse, suspend, cancel, or restrict Gift Cards, Gift Card balances, orders, or associated accounts where fraud, abuse, unauthorized commercial use, or prohibited activity is suspected.

9. Limitation of Use

Gift Cards may only be used within Joybuy’s designated retail ecosystem and in accordance with these Terms. Gift Cards do not constitute a bank account, payment account, electronic money account, or cash equivalent.

10. General

These Gift Card Terms form part of, and should be read together with, Joybuy’s general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, and other policies as applicable. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the consumer’s country of habitual residence shall remain unaffected where applicable.
