These JoyPlus Terms and Conditions are between you and Jingdong Retail (UK) Limited ("Joybuy", "we", "us", or, "our") and they govern your and our respective rights and obligations.

1. The Service

JoyPlus is a membership program offering multiple benefits and services to its members as set out in these Terms.

If you sign up for an JoyPlus membership directly through us, you expressly request that we start providing you the JoyPlus service within your 30-day cancellation period.

2. JoyPlus Benefits

For the purposes of these JoyPlus Benefits, ‘eligible products’ means products sold directly by Joybuy. Eligible products will be identified on the relevant product page by the label ‘Sold and fulfilled by Joybuy’ or an equivalent localized label. Products sold by third-party sellers are not eligible for JoyPlus Benefits, including free shipping, earning Joybuy Points or redeeming Joybuy Points, unless the relevant product page or promotional terms expressly state otherwise.

2.1. Unlimited Free Shipping

You may enjoy unlimited free shipping for eligible products during your active membership period, subject to compliance with the applicable JoyPlus Terms and Conditions.

2.2. Joybuy Points Reward

Every purchase of eligible products made by JoyPlus members will automatically earn Joybuy Points, which will be credited to their accounts. Accumulated Joybuy Points can be used at a rate of 100 points for £1 towards future purchases of eligible products on Joybuy. You can use Joybuy Points to deduct up to 50% of the total amount of eligible products when you place your order.

3. Membership

3.1. Membership fees and duration

The JoyPlus membership fee is non-refundable except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

3.2. Payment

If you sign up for your JoyPlus membership through us, are billed by us and you do not notify us before the next billing date of your membership fee that you want to end your membership at this date or cancel your membership in your Joybuy customer service, we will automatically charge the then-applicable periodic membership fee using your preferred payment method. If you previously selected to be an annual member, your renewal will be processed as an annual membership; if you selected to be a monthly member, your renewal will be processed as a monthly membership.

If your preferred payment method becomes invalid during your membership period, or if the charge is refused for any other reason outside our control, you authorize us to use any other payment method we have on file in your Joybuy customer account. If all your payment methods on file are declined, you must provide us a new eligible payment method or your membership will be canceled.

3.3. Cancellation by you and refunds

If you paid your membership fee directly through us as soon as you joined JoyPlus, you may cancel your current membership within 30 days by contacting customer service. If neither you nor anyone authorised by you to use your account has taken advantage of any JoyPlus benefits in the current membership period, we will refund this membership fee in full. Otherwise you may be eligible for a partial refund of this membership fee based on benefits usage by you or anyone authorised by you to use your account in your current membership period. If you wish to cancel the renewal of your membership for the following period, you may do so anytime at https://m.joybuy.co.uk/membership

JoyPlus memberships redeemed through a promotional or gift code are not refundable.

3.4. Trial membership

From time to time, we may offer certain customers specific free trial memberships, which is subject to these Terms. After its expiration, users' membership automatically renews into a paid JoyPlus.

To verify the validity of your payment method, we may place a temporary charge when you start your free trial. This charge will be automatically refunded within one business day.

The free trial benefit is available once per customer only. Joybuy will determine eligibility through system checks based on the account information you provide, and accounts that do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be able to access the free trial benefit.

3.5. Acceptance of membership

We reserve the right to accept or refuse your membership, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3.6. No transfer or assignment of membership or benefits

You may not transfer or assign your JoyPlus membership or any JoyPlus benefits including promotion codes for JoyPlus memberships or benefits, except as expressly allowed in these Terms.

3.7. No resale, rental or shipping to customers

JoyPlus members are not permitted to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship to their customers or potential customers using JoyPlus benefits.

3.8. No minors

The JoyPlus service is only available to consumers aged 18 years or older.

3.9. Breach of Conduct by JoyPlus Members

JoyPlus members shall be deemed in breach of conduct if they engage in, including but not limited to, the following behaviours. In such cases, we reserve the right to terminate your eligibility to enrol in the JoyPlus membership, suspend or deactivate any membership services already activated, and revoke all or part of the rights and benefits associated with the membership. Fees paid for the membership will not be refunded.

(a) Using membership services for profit-making purposes or for any non-personal gain;

(b) Transferring, assigning, or otherwise disposing of membership services or rights to others in any form;

(c) Allowing others to use the membership services or benefits in your name, or placing orders on behalf of others;

(d) Accessing or activating membership services by means of deception, abuse of trust, or otherwise circumventing normal processes (for example, maliciously avoiding standard membership procedures);

(e) Sharing or using the products, services, or benefits obtained through membership for commercial purposes or non-personal consumption;

(f) Registering, holding, or using multiple JoyPlus accounts under the same user. For these purposes, "same user" refers to accounts linked by identifiers such as joybuy.com account, mobile number, payment account, ID number, device ID, registration information, network operation logs, order history, and other information that relates to the user’s identity and behaviour. Multiple accounts may be determined to belong to the same user if certain identifiers or combinations of identifiers overlap or are substantially similar;

(g) Engaging in fraudulent behaviour while using membership services, such as placing orders via automated tools, exploiting pricing or promotion errors, engaging in fictitious transactions, submitting false or misleading transaction information, or otherwise disrupting transaction order and violating trading rules;

(h) Any conduct that, in our reasonable judgement, breaches the principle of good faith or the principle of fair dealing.

4. Termination

We may terminate your JoyPlus membership immediately by notice if we consider that：

(a) your use of the JoyPlus service materially breaches these Terms or any applicable law or (b) you fraudulently use or misuse the JoyPlus service. In this case we will not give any refund. We will inform you of the termination of your JoyPlus membership and your right to appeal.

You may terminate your JoyPlus membership at any time in accordance with Clause 3.3.

5. Agreement Changes

We may change these Terms or the JoyPlus Service, or any part of it, at any time: for legal or regulatory reasons; for security reasons; to enhance existing features or add additional features to the JoyPlus Service; to reflect advancements in technology; to make reasonable technical adjustments to the JoyPlus Service; and to ensure the ongoing operability of the JoyPlus Service.

If we make changes, we will inform you in due form and time about it and remind you of your rights. You will be able not to accept these changes and you will keep the possibility to cancel your JoyPlus membership at any time.

Regardless of any changes to these Terms or the JoyPlus Service, any increase in the applicable membership fee will not apply before the end of your current membership period.

If any change is found invalid or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions.
